The time I met
Daisy the Dinosaur
Dear (Child's Name),
Zippity-zap! I’m so excited you chose the Jurassic period—200 million years ago!
Everything here is enormous and fascinating. The trees are like skyscrapers, and the ground is covered with strange, leafy plants. The air buzzes with squawks, roars, and rustling leaves. It’s like stepping into another world! I wish you were here to guide me with your courage.
I was just starting to explore when—whoa-wobble! Thump, thump, thump! A giant head with a long neck and curious eyes popped up right in front of me.
It’s Daisy the Diplodocus! Her neck stretches to the treetops, and she’s a plant-eating dinosaur.
“Hello... What are you?” she asks.
“Hi, Daisy! I’m Bobobot, a time-traveling robot from the future!” Daisy blinks. “I don’t know what a robot or the future is, but you seem nice. Are you here to learn about the Jurassic world?”
“Yes! My friend (Child's Name) sent me, and I want to learn everything!”
“Perfect! I’ll be your guide,” Daisy says, smiling. “But I might need your help with a problem...”
“Follow me!” Daisy says. As we walk, she shows me the plants and animals around us. “Look at that tree—it’s a Ginkgo! It’ll still be here in the future!” I say, amazed.
We pass a Stegosaurus with a spiky tail and a Triceratops munching leaves. Then, a tiny feathered dinosaur dashes by.
“Who’s that?” I ask.“Oh, that’s Compsognathus! He’s quick and curious,” Daisy explains. “You’d love him!”
I thought to my self, how fun could it be if you were here and we all playrd together.
Maybe you can be called:

Suddenly, a deep “roarrrr” shakes the ground.
“Oops-a-daisy! What was that?” I squeak.
“That’s Bruto, the grumpy Brachiosaurus,” Daisy whispers. “He’s blocking the way home, and it’s getting dark. If I don’t get past him soon, I’ll miss dinner with my family!”
“Don’t worry, Daisy. We’ll figure this out!” I say, trying to sound brave.
We approach Bruto cautiously. I give him a friendly beep.
“Uh, excuse me,Bruto?”
Bruto looks down, frowning. “What do you want, little dino?” he rumbles.
Daisy whispers nervously, “Bobobot, I’m late for dinner!”
Bruto shakes his head.
“I don’t need rocks, rides, or dances. Leave me alone.”
Frustrated, I turn to Daisy. “Nothing is working!”
I look up at Bruto.
“Bruto, if you move, I’ll give you... a shiny rock I found!” Bruto snorts.
“I have plenty of shiny rocks.”
“Okay, how about a ride on my robo-shoulders?
I can take you anywhere!”
Bruto raises an eyebrow. “Your shoulders are smaller than my toe.”
“Hmm... what about arobo-dance?”
I wiggle and spin, beeping in rhythm.
Then, I remembered! “(Child's Name) would suggest asking nicely!” I say.
Daisy brightens. “That’s worth a try!”
“Bruto, would you mind moving? It’s getting dark, and I need to get home for dinner,” Daisy asks politely.
Bruto thinks for a moment, then nods. “All right, little ones. I can find another tree.” He steps aside.
“Yippee!” I cheer.
“Thanks, Bruto! (Child's Name) would be so proud of us for being polite and brave!”
“Yum, yum, yum!” Daisy munches on her favorite leaves.
“Thank you, Bobobot! Now I’ll be home in time for dinner,” she says with a happy sigh.
“And thank (Child's Name), too. What a smart kid!”
“You bet!” I say proudly.
“So, (Child's Name), where should I go next?
The Moon? Ancient Egypt? The deep sea?
Wherever it is, I’ll be ready! Zippity-zap, see you in the future!”
Your friend,
Bobobot

The time I met
Daisy the Dinosaur
Dear (Child's Name),
Zippity-zap! I was so thrilled you picked the Jurassic period for my next adventure—about 200 million years ago. Everything here is enormous and fascinating! The trees stretch high into the sky, like nature's skyscrapers, and the ground is covered in strange, leafy plants. The air is alive with sounds I’ve never heard before—squawks, roars, and rustling leaves. It feels like stepping into a whole new world where everything is bigger, louder, and more amazing than I ever imagined! I wish you were here by my side, uplifting me with your courage
I was just starting to explore when—whoa-wobble! I felt a big thump, thump, thump beneath my circuits. Suddenly, a giant head with a super long neck and friendly eyes pops up, blinking at me.
It’s Daisy the Diplodocus! She’s a gentle, plant-eating dinosaur with a neck that reaches the treetops!
Daisy studies me with curious eyes. “Hello… what are you?” she asks, tilting her head. “I’ve never seen a shiny, tiny dinosaur like you!”
I laugh and wave. “Hi, Daisy! I’m Bobobot, a time-traveling robot from the future!”
Daisy blinks in surprise. “I don’t know what a robot or ‘the future’ is, but you seem nice! Are you here to learn about the Jurassic world?”
“Yes!” I say, grinning. “My good friend (Child's Name) sent me here, and I’m excited to learn everything!”
Daisy smiles, her excitement growing. “Then you’re in the right place! I’ll be your guide, and maybe you could help me with a little problem I’m having...”
“Come along!” says Daisy, stretching her neck to look around. “But we’ll need to be careful.”
As we walk, Daisy explains about the different plants in our surroundings. I noticed a Ginkgo tree, a tree that still exists 200 million years from now! How amazing is that! We pass by a Stegosaurus with a spiky tail and a squawking Triceratop munching on leaves. Daisy tells me they only eat plants, just like her!
Then, a small dinosaur with feathers dashes by, quick as a flash. “Wow! What a funny little guy!” I say, my circuits buzzing with excitement. “Who is he?”
“Oh, that’s Compsognathus, one of the smallest dinosaurs around,” explains Daisy. “He’s fast, feathery, and always looking for something interesting to nibble!”. I imagined how fun it could have been if you played with him. Maybe you can have a new nickname -

As we continue, a deep “roarrrr” echoes through the trees. Daisy freezes, and I feel my circuits go whoopsy-wobble!“Oops-a-daisy! What was that?” I squeak, my antenna spinning.
“That’s Bruto, the big, grumpy Brachiosaurus,” Daisy whispers. “He’s friendly, but he doesn’t always notice where he’s stepping. I usually try to stay out of his way.”
And sure enough, Bruto comes lumbering into view, towering even higher than Daisy as he munches on the treetops.
“Bobobot,” Daisy whispers, “I was hoping you could help me. Bruto is blocking the path to my home. If I don’t get past him soon, I’ll miss dinner with my family—and it’s already starting to get dark!”
I nod, determined. “Don’t worry, Daisy. We’ll figure this out!”
We approach Bruto cautiously, and I give a friendly beep. “Uh, excuse me, Bruto?” I say, hoping he hears me.
Bruto looks down with a grouchy face. “What do you want, strange little dino?” he rumbles, his deep voice shaking the ground.
Daisy whispers nervously, “Bobobot, it’s getting dark, and I’m late for dinner!”
“Don’t worry, Daisy. I’ve got this!” I say, trying to sound confident, even as my circuits wobble.
I look up at Bruto. “Bruto, I’ve got an idea! If you move out of the way, I’ll give you... a super shiny rock I found!” I say, holding up a small pebble I polished with my robot arm.
Bruto snorts, unimpressed. “I have big, shiny rocks already. That’s not worth moving for.”
“Okay, okay, how about this?” I offer, spinning one of my arms like a windmill.
“A free ride on my robo-shoulders! I can take you anywhere you want!”
Bruto raises an eyebrow, unimpressed. “Little shiny dino, your shoulders are smaller than my toe. No thanks.”
"Hmm...” I think harder. “Oh! I know!
What about a brand-new robo-dance I just invented? Watch this!” I spin, wiggle my antenna, and beep in rhythm, looking as goofy as possible.
Bruto stares at me blankly, then shakes his massive head. “I don’t need shiny rocks, rides, or silly dances. Leave me to my tree.”
I slump, my circuits nearly sparking with frustration. “Nothing is working!” I groan, turning to Daisy.
I scratched my head, thinking. “Hmm...What would (Child's Name) do to solve this?”
Then it hits me! “(Child's Name) would probably suggest asking Bruto nicely!” I say with a grin. “Maybe he’ll move if we explain.”
Daisy’s eyes light up. “That’s a great idea! I’ve never tried asking him politely.”
“Bruto, would you mind moving just a little bit?”
Daisy asks in her kindest voice. “It’s getting dark, and I need to get home for dinner with my family.”
Bruto considers this for a moment, then nods his massive head. “All right, little ones. I can find another tree.” He steps aside, clearing the way.
“Yippee!” I cheer, my circuits buzzing with joy.
"Thanks, Bruto! (Child's Name) would be so proud of us for being polite and brave!”
“Yum, yum, yum!” Daisy stretches her neck to munch on a big, leafy snack.
“Oh, Bobobot,” she sighs, satisfied. “Thank you for helping me! Now I can get home just in time for dinner with my family . You’re a real friend. And thanks to (Child's Name), too. Sounds like a smart kid!”
“You bet!” I say proudly. “And who knows where (Child's Name) will send me next?
So, (Child's Name), thank you for sending me on this amazing adventure! Where should I go next time? to the Moon? Ancient Egypt? Or maybe the mysterious deep sea?
Wherever it is, I’ll be ready with my gadgets, my circuits, and your brilliant ideas to guide me! Until then…
Zippity-zap, see you in the future!
Your friend,
Bobobot
